@nvstewart flat out though. But FSX is way better. The graphics are unbelievable compared to x-plane. FSX is also running on a old engine and is not optimised, also it does not support duel graphics card. graphics card is not too important with FSX, the faster the cpu the more fps you get.

@gspfan93 flight sim only works on windows. If your talking about Flight sim X then to get awesome graphics you will need a fast pc. I have i7 2600K with GTX580 and 8GB ram and with all the sliders on max I will get a minimum of around 10fps. There is no system that exists that can run it well with max settings, but even on medium settings it looks awesome.  Its a trade off with the sliders. No point having a lot of ground details when flying in the cloud etc. with fs2004 you can run that

@nvstewart hey i was jw, do they have flight simulator for mac because if they do i would def want to get it. Ive seen the graphics and what not and its insane, but i have one question before incase they do have it for mac. do you get amazing graphics without using alot of vram or framerate because in xplane 10 when i put clouds or increase the graphics it slows the laptop down to much. So would the only way to get amazing graphics for flight simulator make it way to slow??

@gspfan9 download fraps. You will also need to use a video editing software also to convert the raw video you recorded with fraps, and then use the youtube upload section to put your vid up on youtube.

@nvstewart oo, well its def worth it. Hey so i kind of want to make a vid like u did of your landing but i dont know how to put it on youtube or anything actually. i only know how to record my landings which ive done a bunch. any thoughts?

@gspfan93 nah, I don't have xp10 yet, I am waiting for the global version, don't know whats different about it though.

@nvstewart hey remember me? lol so i got xplane 9 a while ago and i now have xplane ten and its amazing. i learned how to use everything and stuff but i wanted to ask you if you have xplane ten cuz i have a question about the 747 autopilot system. and do you happen to have the sukhuoi jet or the erj payware one?

@gspfan93 When you buy X-plane it comes with the main game on one cd, but you also get a few more cd's which includes world scenery, installation is automatic. Of course if you fly in a part of the world that you have not installed from the included cd's it will be water world. There are more places to download aircraft and liveries for x-plane. Another good place to start you off would be xplanefreeware(dot)net and visit the forums for downloads and repaints.

@nvstewart does the game come with some airports or would it be like the demo and you have to download airports and land cuz that would really suck not to mention cuz i dont even understand how to put the airports in the game i just know how to put the airplanes. and i just started understanding liveries. You know im dying to find an american airlines plane but i just cant find one it sucks! lol
