Jason, I took apart my valve and didn't see an obstruction but when I rotated my valve back and forth I could clearly hear and feel an obstruction bucking underground. Should I call out a pro or is it something I can fix myself???

There's probably something in the line that went back down into the pipe when the pump was turned off. I've had this happen with dive sticks and other narrow objects that get vac'd up from time to time. Try removing the valve cover again and use a shop vac to see if that will suck it out. If that doesn't work you may have to dig down and cut the bottom of the plumbing line to find it. hope that helps!
