sometimes the focussing is really poor too - it struggles to focus and it looks like the recording is suffering from a heart beat ..., !! in out, in out, in out ......

Most new digital cameras take better video than this one. The shutter for taking photos is really poor - a long time delay and you have to press so hard to get a response that the camera starts shaking.
