( http://www.TFLcar.com ) Chances are that you probably know a friend who at one point in their lives has owned a Volkswagen Jetta. And chances atre pretty good that owner might even be you or someone in your family. So when it came time for Volkswagen to update the the Jetta, the company used a tried and true American formula for success...male it bigger, better and cheaper.

  • The new Jetta looks kind of ugly and boring. Previous Jetta's weren't the best looking cars, but they never looked boring. This one though, looks as exciting as a Corolla (which isn't good btw)

  • maybe they put the usb connector in the glove box so you can't text & drive....

  • @Gromitdog1 Mistake? I don't think so. That car is the best selling Jetta ever produced. VW sold more units last year than ever before (and not by a little bit, 30%). Soooo, either over 100,000 people screwed up and bought the wrong car, or it's still better than anything else at that price point. The car wasn't designed for existing VW customers, it was designed to steal everybody else's customers, and it's working. No mistakes made, everything is exactly as planned. :)

  • @romanmicagearguy I am thinking of getting a Jetta in the next couple years.. which would you recommend the SEL, TDI with nav, or GLI Autobahn with Navi? Best mix or value. performance and overall cost to own/insure.

  • @desodesign u mad bro?

  • @desodesign lawls you probably have the 2.0l

  • "I'm 6' 2" and pretty tall". president of the redundancy department of redundancy.
