I met Robbie 6 or 7 years ago in Portland Oregon. He was playing at a small club on a Wednesday night. I was taken there by a friend of his. I remember that I made him laugh when I asked him if his Mother had ever forgiven him for being born with that guitar. He is just a super nice guy with mountains of talent.

Truetone 77 you need to watch another one of his vids before you open your trap. I dont see you on you tube playing anything. I have sat in with robbie and he is one of the best I have ever played with. Very humble and above all a true bluesman....

You're nuts. Mr Laws could stand on the stage with any guitarist ON THE PLANET and acquit himself well.
Incredibly talented, incredibly approachable and self effacing. Laws RULES.

You have no Idea what you are even talking about. We can argue all day long who is good and who isn't, but you are the first person I have ever heard say that Robbie is not a stellar player. ...sorry just keepin' it real.

He is very kewl. He plays serious Blues and is the real deal but I have found him to be easy to chat with and not stuck up about his status. I bet he is an excellent guitar teacher too. I have been on stage with him, as have many locals, amateur and pro alike. I was admiring his Les Paul signature on back of his LP just a couple nights ago and reminiscing with him about Les Paul who just died a few days ago.
Robbie tells me he is playing regular at a new spot in my neighborhood now.

this guy isnt even that good...its very sloppy, timing is off and he doesnt improv well at all..its very contribed..i hope this isnt one of the northwest best..thats sad...hes good..but,not as good as he thinks... sorry...just keepin it real..
