This is a video comparing the two formulations of the great Terre D' Hermes from the Hermes house. Terre D' Hermes comes in an Eau De Toilette and an Eau De Parfum. They are both extremely similar, but only ONE will be victorious.

  • JR. The quality in your videos and just everything about it is getting way way better to the point where you should be getting paid some $ for doing. Once you think you've reached that peak you should definitely approach some designer companys and ask them for their opinions.

  • Eau de Toilette (EdT): 5-15% (typical ~10%) aromatic compounds

Eau de Parfum (EdP), Parfum de Toilette (PdT): 10-20% (typical ~15%) aromatic compounds, sometimes listed as "eau de perfume" or "millésime"

Perfume extract, or simply perfume (Extrait) (or pure perfume): 15-40% (IFRA: typical 20%) aromatic compounds <--- This is what the perfume edition of Terre D'Hermes is!

    It's not an EDP! :)

  • I ordered the small perfum version and I wasn't a fan. I read and saw rave reviews for the TDH but it wasn't for me. I asked some of my coworkers for their opinion and none of them liked it. I'll be sticking to Lowe's Solo for now.

    Great vids tho.

  • Very very informative son. My man just put me up on this joint and I think I'm going to get it. I will get a sample first.

  • thanks, very informative!

  • how much for the Hermes Voyage 3.4oz?

  • "Much more smoother" ????

  • Ahhh what about the all important longevity and projection??

  • Thanks for the comparison! I love them both, and after wearing both samples from Sephora, I decided on the edp actually - it wasn't cloying for me, and gave me more of a 'damp earth' feel and so pure smelling; the edt giving me a dry rocky feel. Think the edt is much more wearable in the summer, but I enjoy smelling the edp so much I had to get it! Anyway, they are both great and Jean Paul Ellena is a masterful artist. Thanks again!

  • I bought the Toilette at a Hermes store in Italy, now I'm thinking on getting the Parfum.
