@SAACAAS Where did you get this information from? As Presa Canario is a Native Herding Dog with Bulldog and Mastiffs...

Pitbull is Bulldog and Various Terriers crossed to make the Breed... Pitbull exsisted long before the out side world knew about the Presa Canario. True Presa only comes from Canary islands and the islands named after the dogs

@daleatope Eso de que quedaron en el olvido es porque se usaron para otro fin no tan lucrativo! Si pasara lo mismo con los toros de lidia y un día se recuperara la raza de ejemplares en el "olvido" dirían que no es toro autentico seguro!En mas de un pueblo de España este perro ha existido durante muchos años otra cosa es que la gente supiera que clase de perro es el que tenia a su lado como pasa con todo en este País.¡ Ahora que si es un chucho del extranjero ciegamente nos lo venden sin mas!

sabeis que el autentico alano español esta extinto desde hace casi 100 años??,han intentado recuperar la raza,con buen resultado,pero a base de ejemplares encontrados en extremadura (españa).. desgraciadamente es una raza recuperada y no es el autentico,cuando dejaron de usarlos para pelear con los toros quedaron en el olvido.

well,they are very beautifull dogs,but I want remember that any europen breed ,during two world war was extinct into an frying pan.The ministery of agricolture in spain,decrete the alano was exint.The year 1925..same for any other european molosser breed,Neapolitan,Dogue,Corso,P­erro the presa canario,Mallorquin ecc..People that don't belive and don't accept these fact,have to prove their theory.In Europe you cand find many proves..Painting,ecc..Please people,show only one concrete prove
