I'd would be great if we could say "so what?" to the fact that someone is gay, but there are so many people that hate homosexuality. These people are not like "so what?"

So you're so convinced that homophobia and hate against gays doesn't exist that it's more plausible to you that Dan White just bumped into Milk and was like "hey, might as well kill this guy" than that one of the only times in American history where a politician killed a rival involved the first openly gay politician? Also, do ties to Jones somehow mean that the great advances in civil rights Milk achieved didn't happen?
