wow never seen that much water sprayed on a pkg b4. i tap the box down, allowing bees to fall to the bottom. place queen in hive and set the whole box in the hive. that way when i remove the pkg box the next day, all the dead bees go out w the box and don't stay in the hive.

@honeymaker42 There are a bunch of different way of putting them in the hive. I prefer to just shake them in and let them take out their dead. This way I can wait a little longer to check in on them, giving them time to accept their new home without disruption.
