Ron Paul & the Reno Republican Straw Poll

Oh, dear. It's been far too long, hasn't it?

Just a few reflections on the Reno straw poll that G and I attended this morning. It was a simple in-and-out affair, but I got some interesting impressions from the other attendees. I've also reflected a bit on the best way to present yourself to a room full of old people who might otherwise get the wrong impression about Ron Paul's candidacy from the apparent youth and... shall we say, inelegance, of some of his supporters. ;)

@wstolyarov : Check out the print edition of this story in today's Reno Gazette Journal Sunday Paper ( Jan 8 ). They omitted one very important detail that was in yesterday's web edition. They left out the fact that VOTES WERE FOR SALE!
