Choreographer: Jeanguy Saintus has been acclaimed as Haiti's gift to modern dance.
Combining afro rythms and motion with classic jazz technique around the rich elements
of haitian culture, Mr. Saintus achieves a unique and refreshing syntesis which is revolutionary.
Here, he presents two choreographies:
ZARENZEN and TRANSE
Transe was commissionned by COBA (Dance Company based in Toronto, Canada
and premiered @ Premiere Dance Theatre Harbourfront Center in 2002)
