Field Dressing 101

I taped this when I was out hunting with with Coffeeman and Huntmaster. Coffeeman is doing the talking and Huntmaster is doing the cutting.

to all of those whom gave a positive comment, thanks. it was i who was behind the knife in this video. to those who were disrespectful, please keep your comments to yourself. you anti hunters are getting nowhere in life, and we hunters do not appreciate what you are trying to do to us, and our way of life. hunting is not just killing, its spending time with friends and family, and enjoying to outdoors. also, hunters dont hunt to kill, they hunt for meat. so please, stop being so disrespectful.

amen to this. whenever i get a moose i keep in mind how much it means to take an animals life to salvage food from it. i've got friends that give me shit for hunting, and they don't think twice about the animals that were killed and neatly packaged at the store which they eat. it's really disrespectful when you comment negatively like that and don't think about how highly we respect animals which we hunt.

I've got a better knife for field dressing, has a small hookblade (very sharp) that once you make the incision you insert the hook pull it down to the rear and it leaves the intestinal lining intact (no smell). It also has a saw so you can cut the shanks off also.

I just dump the gut and take the rest home.

Responsible hunters do not try and force their views and beliefs on YOU. So, YOU should not try to force your views and beliefs on hunters! That is the difference between Anti-hunters and Hunters. Basically intolerance verse tolerance.

I liked watching this vid. Very reality based. What do you do if you are way in the woods, and you are all bloody, but need to reserve your water? You can't just wipe it off and still smell like blood could you?

Dude, this is more natural than having meat packers do it, more humane and holistic too. People post vids here (like this) to educate other people who may even be members of PETA. Educate yourself please. Go the way of the Native American.
