  • Would they ever show this who film on Vh1? They could do the concert repeatedly but No. They place Rush in Rio and AC/DC and Motley Crew - does anybody understand Brett Michaels popularity? Hey I don't know how to spells. did they really play these bands on MTV in the 1980s .. no revisionist history. These three bands are awful to my sensibilities. Why is metal so popular on Vh1? Play on John you are good and cool and care about your craft.

  • @Boss302fan listen to some of Neil Young Old Man live in '71 or his Massey Hall stuff. Sugar Mountain, When you dance I can really love" I am a child", Love in Mind, The Loner, Cowgirl in the Sand, Tonights the Night, Wingerlong. etc. so for the overload. If you get a sight up .. or just message me if you like or not. Take your time it's gonna be a long journey into the past .

  • @Boss302fan Yeah just him him a shot. I guess the songs I mentioned are good starts but try to get the studio version. If you know Old Man and The Needle and the Damage Done and like them then you do know a little of young Neil Young. Might want to start with Mr Soul or On MY Way home (performed by Richer Furray in BSpringfield). If you can like Powerfinger (from Live Rust - listen to that one) .. then you are getting him, I geuss.

  • @11xzxzxz Ya know, I am going to extend a temporary apology. I do not "KNOW" the early Neil Young. I'll give it a shot.

  • @bundershute Exactly, you sound like you know the young Young. I don't even think there could be a better songwriter on his own. That leaves the Beatles and The Replacements untouched.

  • @Boss302fan Come on do you really KNOW the early Neil Young? Go listen to Mr. Soul, Expecting to Fly, On My way Home .. from Buffalo Springfield. And listen to the album versions of "I've been waiting for you" or "Powderfinger". Really Neil was a musical genius from 1966 to 1980. Hey if you don't like his later stuff or with Pearl Jam I understand and go in peace. But I know if you heard the young Young you'll be floored. Not to say John Mellencamp isn't good.

  • What the heck happened.. This song should have been a big single.

  • He is so good! So very sexy!

  • @pherrod54 1996

  • My all time favorite Mellencamp tune! I spy Danny Chauncey (of 38 Special) on guitar!
