  • Oh! And yes, Jesus did teach on love but he never tolerated sin. And who cares what the catholic church thinks? Their teachings should be based on scripture/God's word, which is the ultimate authority. And who cares about the opionions of any pastor/preist who believes otherwise? (than the word of God)

  • I don't know where you got the idea that I hate homosexuals, because I don't. Where I'm from, christians hate the sin but love the sinners, so you're arguments about hatred are irrelavant. Understand that telling someone that what they're doing is wrong does not mean that you hate them. If that was the case, it would mean that every good parent hated their children. I hope this clarifies things for you. Much love and peace to you my friend.

  • If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

(Leviticus 20:13) That proves that God disapproves of the behavior.

  • One other thing to think about. Well less than even two-hundred years ago there were huge schools within Christianity who taught that being black (African) was being less-than-human, and that God intended for White-Europeans to rule over them. Thank God we got past that terrible idea, now see if you can get past this one.

  • "Love thy neighbor as thy self." (Leviticus 19:18), (Mth 22:39), (Mk 12:31)

  • "...He straightened up, and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." (John 8:7)

  • I must have missed the part in the Bible that talks about Jesus being a hateful bigot. All this time I thought he taught toleration and love. Perhaps you didn't know this, but the Catholic Church does not state that homosexuality is a sin, merely acting on it, and only because it is sex outside marriage- not because its non-heterosexual.
