As part of the William and Catherine Bauer Wurster Society's lecture series during Spring 2008 at the University of California Berkeley, Steven Holl gave a lecture free for the public to attend. Attendance was well over 400 with two live feed overflow rooms.

Technical difficulties prompted an intermediate Q&A session before the continuation of the Sliced Porosity Block and Hudson Yards segment.
