Dark Souls: Beginners Guide - Skills

I decided, due to all the new players thanks to the steam sales, I would make a tutorial video series for Dark Souls.

This video I look over all the skills in the game and explain what they do and effect during gameplay.

You might want to look up the wiki, but in general remember this: weapon lvls 1-5 will require a total of 9 titanite shards. 1 for +1, 1 for +2, 2 for +3, 2 for +4, and 3 for +5. This amount is the same for ALL upgrades (just different types of shards). For example, to get from lvl 5 - 10, you are going to need large titanite shards. Again, you will need 1 for +6, 1 for +7, 2 for +8... etc etc. Hopes this helps

I really hope you can answer this for me, when modifying/reinforcing weapons, how can you tell what is required? I feel like I'm wasting shards cause I can't make sense of what is required to do so. Please help!

Well done vid. Some of your terminology is a little irregular, but it's a excellent compendium of knowledge on the game. I didn't even know that tidbit about resistance, hah.
