  • Two front simultaneous war is not a current but a certain and undeniable scenario in future(2020's).China is rising fast and so is India and so will rise China's involvement with Pak to prevent India.

In future India China will indulge into some kind of cold war.At that time India will need strong armed forces and strong allies like Russia,Japan,South Korea,Vietnam etc. It's interesting that india is doing well in both aspects, after all its not China only which wants to form string of pearls!

  • First of all 50% are not obsolete... they are obsolescent ... that means they would become obsolete with the next 5 or 10 years. And in 2013-2014 that level would come down to 20% which is what any modern air force is at.

  • @hello240157 China will never a fight a direct war with India again. They will pump billions of dollars to maoists that's enough to keep India in chaos.

  • Is this the Indian Diarrhea?

  • @colliecandle its jana gana mana :)

  • @hello240157 More likely, China and India would form an Asian axis... India's waterways are too valuable to china, for China to seek a cold peace with India. and it's not in best interest for india to have a stand off with china as well, with domestic problems everywhere as they are now :\

The only thing holding this relationship from forming, is ego, as well as China's warm relationship with Pakistan.

  • Salutations from the UK - impressive growth in Indian airforce strength - Indian pilots are known in the UK as well trained and professional. With two Muslim neighbours and China close by you need to keep your swords sharp. Good luck and best wishes.

  • @belpik I Agree ^_^ IAF Gonna change after entrance of AH-64D Longbows apache and Tejas, India is planning to import few Eurofighter Typhoons. India has capability to buy F-16s but its not buying. Why ?! because Pakis have it and india doesn't want to be equal to PAF. BHARAT MATA KI JAI !

  • i'm truly proud of my Air Force....Jai Hind...Bharat mata ki jai....

  • TEZPUR IS A ONE DISTRIC OF ASSAM AND MY HOME TO TEZPUR 6 HOURS DISTANCE BY BUS

  • @kedharf1 u r absolutely right.......the IAF is not fool enough to keep obsolete aircraft.....the Mig 21s which r crashing is going to be replaced by HAL Tejas by 2013,New planes from MMRCA,C17s,c 130j,may be Spartan transport plane,UAVs,5th gen........what else need.Upgardes of Mig 29,Mirage 2000,Su 30MKI would completely change the IAF.Plus helicopters like Apache/Mi 28,Chinook/Mi 26,Dhrub,LCH.....will makes things greater

  • Sukhoi is not the queen of the sky..... She's my girlfriend !!!
