Eldoret: Varied opinions greet reshuffle

In Rutos backyard of Eldoret, it was a mixed reaction to the reshuffle. Some constituents say it is a normal cabinet transfer, while others read political mischief in the move.

Sally Kosgey has unchallenged credentials. It is naive to claim that she cannot measure up to expectation. This is what I call male chauvinism, to assume that she cannot handle the new position she has been moved to. This people should ask Ruto instead to be man enough to resign and seek mandate from the base he is most comfortable with instead of introducing the culture of unnecessary squabbling in ODM. He is not going to contain the party in a box.

Education is the key to poverty, exposure etc nowonder they still refer to us as developing countries coz we give food priority than education. the ministry of agriculture cannot survive without researchers from the ministry of highter education. so how is higher education ministry a low level ministry. we need to deal with illeteracy level in kenya. story kuona chakula ni mzuri kuliko masomo inafaa tumalize.

Ruto has a job so what's the problem? Raila is expected to control, direct, manage his party. What Ruto & Keter were doing is not a bout offering alternative opinion but breaking party. Can anyone say what Raila could have done? He has been patient for 2 years & if ODM was a Company with such voices, it would have collapsed. Can u tolerate this at Home? Be Sincere

Why is it all about ruto? What about Kosgei? She is in the least as competent as ruto and of course she understands the importance of official party/government stands. We should congratulate her and leave ruto alone. If ruto is unhappy, he can always quit and start his early campaigns for 2012, just like karua!
