iPad Demo at Best Buy

The ipad was released to the general public today 4-3-2010. I was at a Best Buy store and had a chance to play with the device. My fist impression, its just a big iphone, without the phone part. Dont get me wrong, it was a cool toy, but it will not replace my phone or laptop. I think it will be a great multimedia entertainment device. Very cool, but not a must have device for me.

Some of the apps for the ipad where very bad. They looked like they were just an iphone app stretched to work on the ipad. The resolution was horrible. Im also not a fan of the on screen keyboard. If I owned one, Id get an external keyboard. Also no Flash support is a major flaw, almost to the point of a fail.
