(h/t Media Matters)During a hearing in the Senate banking committee, Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) responded to what he said was the "scapegoating of the men and women of organized labor" in the auto-industry crisis. He said, in part: CASEY: I have to say also, with regard to the labor concessions -- Mr. [Ron] Gettelfinger [UAW president], I wanted to review some of those. Because I am stunned by the kind of -- when you hear the talking heads on television and when you read what some people say in this town and across the country about the mythology that's out there about how we're -- how we got to this situation. And, frankly, the scapegoating of the men and women of organized labor, and in particular, autoworkers.

  • Yeah, let's stop scapegoating the UAW Richard Shelby can go "CHENEY" himself.

  • The $73/hr. lie originated with Sorkin of "The New York Times", who took all costs of labor, including pensioners' health benefits, and divided it by the number of hours worked by the current employees.

  • What exactly has Bob Casey been doing in Washington, besides helping President Obama max out the taxpayer credit card on the backs of Pennsylvania families? Bob Casey is just another blue dog democrat choked pink by the far-left Washington democrat party. Democrat party is latin for conservatives & moderates not welcome.
