This is just to show the gameplay of the first two levels of Blood Moon, which is a very high quality total conversion hack of the first Castlevania game, it's barely recognisable as Castlevania 1 and plays very differently, though is way too hard

Interestingly the game also allows you to whip and move simultaneously

I've only seen the first three stages of Blood Moon so I can't compare the whole game. The first 3 stages of blood moon are horrific in comparison to the original Castlevania's levels :)

I'm looking for a translated version of Ike Ike Nekkettsu hockey. The repro cart is called ice ice challenge hockey i think. Anyone know if/where i can buy a repro cart without having to send a cart in myself?

Why did they make it so you can slide while whipping? It's annoying.

Ignoring that for a second: this hack is pretty cool, and has a sort of Doom 2 vibe to it. Invulnerability and kill-all-enemy powerups are everywhere, you don't lose subweapons when you die, and you always start with a lot of hearts.

But damn, I hate that slide!

This is a great ROM by a good friend of mine. I have always enjoyed playing this game.

super castlevania 4 is SO much better
