Do Police make mistakes? Of course they do, they're only human. Are they ALL corrupt? By no means. Making such blanket statements is as stupid as it is inflamitory. People need to take each situation on a case by case basis & not superimpose their personal prejudices & preconcieved notions onto a situation. THAT is my point.

3) What is YOUR take on Meyer, exactly?

4) I said they used it 19 times, which is recorded. All 19 may not have hit, but that's not the point now is it?

5) The police video will likely never be seen.

The producer of this video is a flake......I was an officer of this Department for many years, and know those involved.......They acted professionally and most likely saved Mace's life.

Did the police have an ex-ray machine on their person to know this subjects back was broken?? Have you ever dealt with a violent person that is under the influence of drugs? I doubt it........

Regardless of what you know of those involved, you were just as much not there as I was. I still stand by the belief that requiring a taser to restrain a person from walking into a relatively low traffic highway doesn't add up.

And again, what did he do that was actually VIOLENT? The words he may or may not have said aren't enough, in my opinion.

STFU asshole. Fucking police are there to "Serve & Protect". They are not empowered under the Constitution to begin with. At least in my town they know their role.

Do you know that the police are being sent memos on how to deal with "suspects" who spout out thier so called "rights"?

Mace is a good friend of my sons. after this happened his family filed a lawsuit against the ozark pd . and guess what!! Mace all of sudden was charged with a felony crime Hmmm intimidation any one. Ozark pd is not the only corrupt pd down here. check out stone county. They write their own laws and constitution to suit them if the courts in stone county were investigated under cover they would have many arrests made here. they abuse the US and missouri constitution on a daily basis

Well I read most of these comments and seen how most of these people love their cops and havent actually read into any of these stories. I agree with the producer of this video, cops are taking their *right to taze* to the extremes. any man with a broken back will not be physically able to cause much harm to anybody especially a beefed up porky the pig in a bullet proof vest. why? u ask well lets see here..... It's obvious that the police are the common enemy of the people we all should demand that the police protect the constitution of the United State if they violate our rights they should go to prison The constitution more important than the rich people that they protect, they do not protect the average citizen The only thing that police give the average citizen is a traffic ticket that backdoor 4 the powerful people wife and I taking out our motor home and beaten jailed police will hurt you.

The cops OBVIOUSLY caused the fall and are covering up. The only other explanation is 1) they arrived on the scene to find an injured person with a broken back lying on the ground 2) they tased him. Give me a break.

i used to live in ozark im in springfield now and i moved to get away from ozark cops if a cop saw me driving i was pulled over since i moved i havent even been pulled over for anything
