@lynnshell78 pound? okay.

@syntaxchick No, it was not an NFB film. The short animation to which you refer was part of an episode of a children's television show called "Curiosity Shop" which aired between 1971 and 1972. The show was a favorite of mine when I was a child and I remember the rock episode.

Don't know if this is relevant or even a NFB film. In the 70s (in Ottawa) I saw an animated half hour (?) special on rocks. There was Uncle Ig-Ig-Igneus rock, S-s-sedimentary rock & Metamorphic. Done to a kid-friendly "rock music" background. One of the songs was "Way down low on rock bottom road". Has anyone heard of this? Know the title? It was truly brilliant.

Thank you for posting. I loved watching the NFB movies while I was in junior high and high school. I later studied film production in college and I have always loved the NFB films. As lynshell78 notes, it truly does make you proud to to Canadian.
