Come along with us and drive the hills of Taormina, visit the Hotel Villa Fabbiano, a quaint park and watch street musicians at Piazza IX Aprile.

  • I had the good fortune to spend an entire month in Sicily. We were there in the springtime too! The greek theatre is amazing. I am glad I don't live there though because I would weigh 4000 pounds since the food was so delicious. If anyone here is going,ABSOLUTELY go to the valley of the kings. It's near Agrigento or Syracuse,I forget. Sicily is wonderful.

  • Yes I agree the food is fantastic. Thanks for posting.

  • i was here in july just for 1 day as i was on a cruise! lovee this place!

  • I just love Sicily and this little town. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for adding a comment.

  • Everything in Taormina is two to three times higher priced than anywhere in Sicily. It's a major tourist trap. The locals have a saying there " double bay- double pay!" And watch out for that old man that sells antques on Corso Umberto, he'll never ship what you actually paid for.

  • We were there in April so the prices were still reasonable. Thanks for the caution with the antiques dealer. I hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable.

  • @Beeman448 The hair on my head to clarify lol

  • @Beeman448 To clarify,it's the Valley of the Temples. The first meal I ordered in Sicily was lasagna. When the food arrived it was a large bowl of green noodles with olive oil on it. I thought about complainiing but I was hungry so I ate it. Best non-complaint decision I ever made. Oh, I want to go back! [P.S. the pizza was dissapointing except on top of Mt. Etna ] And some bakery there had a cheese infused bread that was soo good I wanted to rub it in my hair!

  • Thanks for your comments. We love Sicily also.

  • minchia grazie di filmato ho rivisto la mia taormina bedda

  • I wasn't sure if he recognized me or knew what was about to happen.

"Bona Serra", he said to me.

"Best time of day to go fuck yourself." I replied, and walked away... It's true Sicilians never forget a friend or an enemy.

Capo D'Orlando is a nicer tourist friendly town so is Cefalu,Sciacca and even Palermo. This year it's back to Aci Trezza.

    Buona

    Fortuna,

    Peppe

  • I went back a year later and poised to exact revenge in the name of family honor. But upon looking on this sad pathetic old man, my heart softened.
