It was a tunesmith09 request... I just played with my camera and the images on the surface of the CD are reflection of the one stand near when I took the pictures.

  • Is this a Japanese release, because I've never seen this CD in the USA?

  • @erginakif iit's the USA CD, I just played with my camera and the images on the surface of the CD are reflection of the one stand near when I took the pictures.

  • @ssoko Do you remember when you bought it? I'm sure they've dicontinued printing this particular title, as I've never seen the Passage CD in stores.

  • @erginakif It was in the ´90 I think....

  • nice job ssoko...and thanks...please keep up the good work!...Tunesmith

  • Absolutely Love this song and video! Love the reflections off the cd. The song really matches with Karen's voice and it really seems to describe herself as well. Singing is so natural to her. A breezy type of song with serious message. I love it.

  • This song speaks volumes of what Karen was feeling at the time it was recorded.. 1977.. she was 27yo and very much in the grips of her anorexia that would claim her life just 6 year later... Her reading on this song is very presonal... Like its a note to her fans... That she knew she had a problem.. "Well there's Two Sides/another side of me/ There's the one you think your live with/The one you never see.. We saw her for the talent she had but not the battle she was fighting...

  • @erginakif Seriously, dude? Just google "Carpenters Passage." You can get it cheap, on Amazon. It's a great record.

  • @OceanKingNY He did on a Japanese CD compilation in 1987 called "Treasures" which featured all album tracks ... and at that time an unrelease track entitled "Slow Dance" which was released on "Lovelines" 2 yrs. later in the states.

  • This song got me through a break up. Rock on, Carpenters! :)

  • Karen,a star on earth,a starr in heaven,we all miss you so much, someday i will meet you in heaven...

  • Nice video! I have always liked this song, and I consider it one of the Carpenters' most underrated album tracks. I'm surprised that Richard has never included it on a compilation CD. It really deserves to be heard.

  • Folks...this was from 1977...don't know if it's still available in CD format or not...Karen died in 1983...a voice for the ages...Tunesmith
