We were there in June and stayed at the Jekyll Island Club, which is now an excellent hotel. I grew up in Brunswick and spent a lot of time on Jekyll in high school and afterwards. It is an awesome place for a vacation and I think you did a great job of pointing out some of the points of interest there. I miss it a lot... so your video just gave me a little much needed taste of my home!

I have a cousin that works at the camp ground on Jekyll Island.I miss that Island alot.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Days Inn on the southern part of Jekyll. A pretty good overview but the Convention Center and shopping center on Jekyll have been demolished. Major renovations that are supposed to be finished by 2013. Thanks for posting this..

Trees on beach did not wash up on shore, knucklehead, but were there originally and water eroded soil away from roots creating driftwood beach. Thanks for filming beautiful Jekyyll Island Georgia. U.S. east coast's best kept secret..

i seen dogs on the beach are they allowed all year looking for a beach to go to this summer but need one that allows dogs

My family goes there every spring! I was biking and saw an alligator on the golf course, I've climbed most of the trees on drift wood beach, and Ive been to the top of the lighthouse at 4:08 and Ive been to the cemetery, and all the old houses.

Where exactly are the gun mounts located on the Island? It looks like your at the south end.

The gun mounts are on the south side of the island. East of St Andrews picnic area
