Fox and Friends presents ham sandwich satire as real news

I don't see how it would even be possible to charge someone for a hate crime for this. Hate crimes were designated for CRIMES comitted in the name of hate, like beating someone up for being gay or a different race; the act of battery in itself is the criminal act. Putting a sandwhich on someone's desk is not a crime, anymore than a racial insult is. I wouldn't support either action but I certainly don't support government intervention for such benign actions.

The biggest difference really is that the Onion is INTENTIONALLY hilarious.

I live near lewiston/auburn and when I saw fox reporting this, I just said, "Oh....no...." They report SATIRE as truth but I don't think they reported an actual case of a man rolling a severed pigs head into the mosque...
