Respect for the faith of sincere believers cannot be allowed either to block or deflect the investigation of the historians One must defend the rights of elementary historical methodology.

——- Maxime Rodhinson, 1981; p. 57

In 1972, during the restoration of the great mosque of Sana, capital of Yemen, workers discovered a mash of old parchments. DR Gerd R Puin, a quranic expert studied the find. Dr Gerd dated it at between 705 and 715. It is the oldest dateable quran in the world but was created 70 years after Muhammads death. fragments from nearly 1000 different Qur'an's were identified. verses and chapters changed and rearranged. so the quran was not a single product or a single entity that was fixed by 650 but developed much, much later hence the overlaying of texts.

Muslims assert that the Qur'an is a perfect book and language yet when the Qur'an was first written in kufic script, an angular script which was most likely a product of inscribing on hard surfaces such as wood or stone, it didnt even have any vowels. the critical dots were not added until later, as such the verbs could be read as either actives or passives and some arabic words can have up to 30 different meanings.

Muslims also generally believe, thanks to Quranic assertions, that both the Old and New Testaments are corrupted and seriously changed. They say, for a Holy Scripture to be authoritative, it has to be preserved without any changes at all, and point to the Quran, which, they claim, has been preserved word by word and letter by letter, as was revealed to Muhammad by Allah. The Quran itself claims: 'no change there can be in the words of God' (10:64) and, 'there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of God' (6:34).

But then how ridiculous the 'doctrine of abrogation' is, by which later revelations cancel previous ones, as Quran (2:106) confirms, 'revelations We abrogate or cause to be forgotten'. Also, a Hadith (6:558) from Sahih Bukhari confirms that Muhammad forgot many verses. Again Sunaan ibn Majah (3:1944) records that, after Muhammads death, some revelations were eaten up by a goat.

How divine words can be eaten, changed, cancelled or abolished, in spite of Allahs specific claim in 10:64 and 6:34?

Are not all these claims of Allah self-contradictory?

  • I found to copy of the original fax from Dr. Gerd R Puin with his signature sent to Dr. Muhammad Mustafa al-A'zami.

Please give me a link so i can send it to you brother.

Part of it says: "The important thing, thank God, is that these Yemeni Qur'anic fragments do not differ from those found in museums and libraries elsewhere, with the exception of details that do not touch the Qur'an itself, but are rather differences in the way words arc spelled."

    Peace!

  • @TrinityDesist yes which can have up to several different meanings. For example 'Houris (Virgin maidens in heaven promised to dead terrorists) ' could mean 'bunch of white grapes' How hilarious. I would give my house to see the look on their faces when they reach Jannah.

Peace means submission in Islam. I do not accept it from a Muslim.

  • This video is fucking everywhere on youtube and every single one of them has negative comments about them

  • @sulmagnificent: I wonder why? :)

  • @TrinityDesist: So u 100% believe in one verse but not on the other ?. I a senior Muslim do not have to 100% believe in the above verse - being a follower of Christ. Since my arguments is based on the Quran I for the sake of my junior Muslim cannot plainly deny the above, since the Quran has shown me the light and that Light is Essa-rouh-Allah. How come u fail to acknowledge this Noor - plainly written about in the Quran.

  • @Christ We don't believe that the Qur'aan is word of Muhammad (saw). We believe that Qur'aan %100 Word of Allah swt. How do i know? I never see a book in nowhere who claims something and challenges to people disprove or produce similar like It.

Can you show me this kind of speech in your bible(s) which you believe %100 word of God?

We have many manuscripts written time of Muhammad (saw). Even Sanaa manuscripts, except the spelling, all of them word for word and the meaning are same.

    Peace!

  • @Christthebridge "...But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient. O you who have believed, fear Allah and believe in His Messenger (Muhammad); He will [then] give you a double portion of His mercy and make for you a light by which you will walk and forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

I %100 believe this verse. Now tell me, do you?

  • @Christthebridge Let me quote you again: "Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah .

    More above...

  • @TrinityDesist: Now lets talk turkey. " GOD ordained in the hearts of those who followed Jesus compassion and mercy".

Do u believe this verse to be true or not.

I am not asking about monasticism - so kindly don't try to dodge the question.

Now if for some reason u do not believe in the above verse which according to your faith is the Word of God , Will the Gospel of Jesus make any difference . Lets just stick to the book u believe in.

    Again don't you forget Surah Al-Imran 3-54.

  • @TrinityDesist : Cheap argument - OK, if that is what u want - Now the Apostle Mohammad did not know how to read or write : so the Quran was obviously not written by him - Can u show me The Quran written by Mohammad.

The essence of knowledge is, having it, to apply it; not having it, to confess your ignorance. - by Confucius.

  • please stop this kind of cheap argument.

  • And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah . But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient. Q. 57:26-27

Now please tell me do you have Gospel of Jesus, not to written by unknown people?

    Peace!
