I do not deny all of Kumudo.
However, I spread the rumor that Korea is Korea now by the origin of every Japanese culture.
I do not mind that a Korean refuses acceptance of Japanese culture.
But, for propaganda, I cannot forgive a manner to disgrace traditional culture.
-
Does that mean that a Korean steals Japanese culture?
Is it to tell a lie that a Korean had the thing which a Korean did not have?
Do you have the document which there was kumdo in the times before Japan annexes Korea?
I regret that many Westerners are deceived by a Korean.

we do NOT know the exact history so lets just be quiet unless u have traveled back in time to korea and japan in a time machine.... AND japand tends to HIDE things and refuse to tell things that they did in the past.. who knows somebody mightve created kumdo in korea and japan took the information during the korean war and killed him who knows.. im not taking any sides...
-
kool i go to that dojang to do kumdo
-
cool video, let's all stop acting like we're experts when it comes to korea's/japan's history
-
will everyone quit with the japan korea thing?
btw just think, japan had controlled korea for sometime, even trying to wipe out korean culture, so we dont really know if kendo/kumdo really originated in korea or japan. it's easy for japan to take credit for creating things like ninjas or something because they were the ones who oppressed and tried to wipe out our language and culture by imposing theirs on us, take credits and make koreans look like japanese when we arent, so we will neve rknow.
-
v9a9v, what you meant to say was
"It is Kendo. Korea copied it from Japan.
Please do not be deceived by Koreans interested in money-making"
Honestly, if you're going to post anything post it in Japanese so we don't have to be subjected to your mangled english.
Oh and thanks for the public service annoucement. I'll try and stay away from those greedy Koreans.
-
ok this argument is really messed up and no one's getting anywhere because neither side is getting their facts straight....
-
is it troo that kumdo focuses more on speed than on technique when it comes to the shia's please respond to this and please be a person that practices kumdo
-
lmao doode that is so funny
Lets not fight over something like this (:
Im half korean, obviously im going to side with Korea.
but i still give credit to Japan; because maybe im wrong; maybe Kumdo was originated in Japan; its too far back in history during like SHILLA ERA *not really just example* to find the original roots.
and dont be rude and obnoxious saying that Kumdo is a is an ugly copy of Kendo.
Watching Japanese kendo is EXTREMELY boring than watching Korean Kumdo.

example..
Samurai was actually originated in North Korea, and i forgot what the original name it was in korean before Japan took over Korea. I studied korean history and when Japan took over Korea, wanting to take of China in the first place though, they stole all of Korea's culture. But they also changed it making it the Japanese culture we know now today.

"kendo vs kumdo" thing.
where it originated and everything.
both f0cus and kimgansu i can say both of your beliefs are right. honestly i think Korea is the origin of Kumdo. but i give credit to Japan also.
