Dr. Monica Udvardy's lecture delivered at Eastern Kentucky University - College of Justice and Safety in 2004 titled "The Global Traffic in African Property: Legal and Enforcement Loopholes".

Dr. Monica Udvardy is Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Kentucky.
She received her PhD Uppsala University, Sweden, in 1990. Dr. Udvardy is a cultural anthropologist and she specializes in the anthropology of gender. Her approaches to the study of gender include both applied and symbolic perspectives.

Dr. Udvardy also specializes in medical anthropology and the life-course. Her regional specialty is Africa with an emphasis on East Africa, Kenya and Tanzania.
