Amen! Long live Keith Whitley! I promise as long as i live, Keiths memory will remain. I truly feel a soul connection with Keith. God had plans for him elsewhere.
Keith did not die. God had plans for him somewhere else. Yes , we miss him so much, we were so blessed with his gift here. I felt such a soul stirring connection with Keith and his music and I thank God for giving us what we had for the time we had him here.

@5musiclovers He did not die in his sleep. He went back to the hotel room to get ready to play golf with his brother. an hour later he was found face down dead. he had consumed way to much in that short period of time. He was not sleeping though i guess he did pass out

i really loved his music. I hope I dont go the sane way. brother was found in the back of my car the same way

He was definitely one of the best voices of our time...right up there with my other favorites....Randy Travis & George Strait. It's ashame he never got the chance to get the recognition he deserved.

just read your comment from 11 months ago. You say Don t be angry with me. " Lady, who in the hell could ever be angry with you. I was mad as hell at KW. Said some angry things. You responded. I even said unkind things about you. I asked for your forgiveness and you gave it. I have even turned people on to you. You are the KW expert. I loved his music. God have I found out how many others did as well. So KW will never die. And part of it is because of you. Love ya Lady.

Oh he has a good voice, how did he die? I don't know because he died 2 years before I was born..

Sadly Keith died on May 9 1989 of alcohol poisoning. He was 33 years old old at the time of his death. I will never foreget the day when we lost the greatest singer-songwriter of all time. I miss him everyday. Long live Keith Whitley
