That America would go flat broke. They don't realize as a nation we would be healthier. All our Presidents get cut backs an payoffs from the pharmaceutical companies. Food an drug admin. People in the US have to realize that Social Security / Free Healthcare have nothing to do with "sozialims" or "Communism" or any other ism there is. People that are talking about free healthcare like its the devil should get a taste of cancerwithout insurence and see for them selfs. Thats one of the few things about Europe i like. Even with no insurance they will save your life because our Docs swear an oath to the people, not the Companys !!

So either health care or retirement. But what kind of retirement am I going to have if I'm in chronic pain an in a wheel chair. I really can't afford either cause I need to keep a roof over my head. I don't own a credit card so I don't live beyond my means. I would gladly stand in lines be put on a waiting list an take a number then sit an rot cause I can't afford anything.I would gladly pay 50 bucks more in taxes if that means health care an meds are takin care of

As much as we pay in taxes already. We pay as much in taxes as country's with socialized medicine but no medical benefits. With the amount of people on medicare an medic aid an medical i think we can come up with a better solution. Fuckin Bush says "go to the emergency room." People on medical use the emergency room like a primary Dr. I work 11 hrs a day if not more. It's either health insurance or retirement. I was in a accident. So anything to do with my back is not covered.I

I think more people like Adrian should be running the system. She as a patient knows what needs to be changed. I think she is one that doesn't struggle with the idea of social healthcare, and in facts promotes HR 676 Single Payer in another news clip. More people like her need to stand up!

I really think the U.S. can learn a couple of things from Canada's health care system. It's odd how two countries are so close to each other, yet their systems work so differently.

I can not believe how many americans still struggle against social healthcare. It's a mystery to me.
On the one side you have almost all of europe where social healthcare works perfectly. Everybody is happy we have it, even the rich people.
On the other side you have about half of the americans who say it doesn't work and everybody has to pay more, blah blah, just because it's something socialistic.
That stuck-up in the ass attitude is gonna get you all killed by your own, sick system.
