i'm filming a music vid for my friend who is a local singer and i wanted to know if you used a lighting kit cause i'm filming his on my hv20

do people take u serious with the hv20 or are they like thts just a little handycam i mean i know this cam packs alot of punch for its size.

If i were charging 20thousand+ for a video then i wouldnt show up with an HV20. But for bands that are on a serious budget they are more then happy.

Could you tell me please, have you used external microphone? I have heard that the sound is very weak spot in Canon HV20, and hear the sound is very good.

@wondnaereh, you may find this hard to believe but the most successful songs and bands of all time are pretty much 3 chords. KISS, no, not the band, the acronym. I think the song is catchy.

Really dig the video. I saw it and knew I needed to get a HV20 to shoot music videos with but got a HV30 instead. If you get a chance, let me know what you think of mine.

Bass sound? That was a keyboard. And so were the drums, it was recorded with my keyboard. Not only that, they were all one takes. (Unlike the cigarettes I adore). However, if you would like to here some of our stuff with actual bass and drums(electric roland kit actually), we've got other songs online. (And more of me with my insane cigarette coolness)

Yeah the cigarettes in the back are freaking hilariously lame. Also the song is almost entirely in one note, hahaha. They suck!!!! but the camera seems to do a nice job. Who mixed that bass? Geeeez, sounds like a fart.
