  • thanks for the vid...I bought a white x10 from craisglist and they had a black battery cover on it so now Im lookin into matching it all up but I want to see if its possible to keep the screen part white, is that possible? in your vid you made it sound like you cannot take that part out..

  • @GravvyTrain It depends what you mean by "screen part" because you can have an all black shell, white battery cover and then the bezel around the screen white.

  • is it possible to remove the lcd from the metal back.

  • @azora0 Kinda curious on why you'd wanna do that

  • @azora0 I don't think so... I'm pretty sure its just one piece.

    why would you want to?

  • thanks

  • very nice vid - thanks mate! one question though: my earspeaker is broken and unfortunately, you cannot replace it as easy as the loud speaker, can you? Is there a way to separate the display from the "other parts" because I thought of buying a new display but on the pics it didnt look like the ear speaker would be attached to that. any help appreciated!

  • thanks for this, my digitiser was fucked i got new one for £20 and replaced it my self, 5*s and like :)

  • After I changed the housing the touch screen work not good any suggestion please?

  • Thank you so much darkgoth678!!! I just fixed my digitizer / graphics tablet using this video and the other which you've posted. Thank-you for making them. I was so happy when the phone actually worked after re-assembly. It's easier the 2nd or 3rd times and better if you put the buttons back on the right way. Removing the digitizer is SO HARD on this handset. Mine SHATTERED. Luckily i removed the pieces and used the same glue for placing the new one. Be VERY careful about alignment and removal.

  • Thanks for your video! I have reviewed both videos, your first "Xperia X10 Disassembly Walkthrough" and this one. Viewing them and following your techniques I was able to replace my cracked digitizer and saved myself a load of cash! Thanks again.

  • @BaltejRai eBay FTW :D

  • My x10 phone front glass is broken so from where I can buy it in India or any online site ..please tell me

  • Thanks for this one too. This is what I really needed.

  • This helps even more. Thanks alot!
