Why is it my responsibility to go tell another table that their child is being too loud? If you are in a restaurant and a kid is bothering you, YOU go tell them. You want me to tell someone to shut their kid up so that i can lose my tip? No way. Not my job.

  • Yeahhh bitchy waiter!! I can't wait to hear your whole rant! Been reading ur blog for a long time- now I can read it to myself the way you talk and visualize your hair expressing it's own personality ;) -3 -3 -3

  • How do parents get away with this in the first place? Maybe if EVERYONE called them on it...fellow customers, management, EVERYONE who was being affected, then the message would be sent out that this CRAP will not be tolerated in a polite society.

  • It's the manager's job to handle such situations.

  • Pass it along to the waiter whose table it is, let them deal with it ...

  • So not your responsibility! I'm with the 23% who would confront the parents.

  • 5. Rip the kid a new one.
