Disneyland's New Audio-Animatronic Lincoln

DIsney Imagineers reveal their most sophisticated audio animatronic to date, the new Abraham Lincoln for Disneyland's revised "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" attraction. The old Lincoln figure had 6 functions in the face, but this new one includes 10. Lincoln's mouth is now able to form vowels such as "O". This new attraction will reopen mid-December only at the Disneyland Resort.

This is great except, by all accounts, Lincoln spoke in a heavy accent with a somewhat higher pitched voice.

The close-up video of the new AA Lincoln's head is a bit creepy (not in a bad way, of course), because of how much more realistic it appears to be now.

Hope other AA's will get the same treatment. Maybe they could do this with the Country Bears, especially if or when they revive them at Disney's California Adventure.
