3247 is a GP40-2, 3248 and 3249 are gensets

They would give the south side the shiny new equipment and the north side the crappy old equipment. After all they did that with the new k-cars!

Yeah, I think the north side might get hybrid locomotives, or that might be the South Side. Even if they are on the south side, they would replace F40's 1000- 1017 most likely. So they would probably send F40's 1024-1036 and 1050-1075 up north as usual consists :). The north side should get MU control trains with a sort of cafe, simalar to metro north :)

Well if they give you that, we down south would want brand new Bi-levels that would feature headrests, fold down tables, and less annoying door operations!
