@evilunixuser1 I am glad that you found peace with God at the P.N.C.C. I believe that Bishop Hudor the founder was a truly regenerate Christian. St. Michael's belongs to the Original North American Old Roman Catholic movement established by Bishop Carfora. We were accepted into the NAORCC by the late Bishop James Rogers. Our present presiding Bishop is Bishop Albert Berubie. Let us unite in our Lord's High Priestly prayer for unity amongst His true followers recorded in the Gospel: John 17!
@frbjoernLA - Been attending Mass at a local P.N.C.C. church now for awhile. My son serves as an altar boy, and the priest is a great guy. His son is serving in the U.S.A.F. My son & I count down the days until the next Sunday service. And good for you! IMHO, the RCC completely lost it when the Tridentine Mass was replaced with the Novus Ordo mass.
@pickledpork OK! But you don't have to be! You can confess your sins to Almighty God directly. Resolve to live as a forgiven sinner as a new creature in Him. Then if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour, your only Life, your sweetness and your only Hope, you wont be Schismatic any more and you will have the promise and assurance from our Lord Jesus Himself that the person who comes to Him, He will in no wise cast away.
@evilunixuser1 May God bless you on your spiritual journey. You know that the most important thing is where you stand before our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ. He is my personal Saviour here at St. Michael's Old Roman Catholic Church. I believe the PNCC is very Christocentric and in a true Gospel sense Evangelically oriented..
I'm returning to the PNCC after a long hiatus. Unfortunately I'm unable to get to church for a week or two due to having my eyeglasses replaced (they broke, and I can't even drive without them). So I visited a local R.C.C. - What a DIFFERENCE! The P.N.C.C. has a much more beautiful liturgy. Plus, at communion, in the PNCC people kneel at the rail, at the RCC, it's just a line of ppl.
Thank you Johnny NW for your comment There are a few High Anglican churches where the precious Body and Blood are treated with traditional reverence here in Los Angeles. One is in Hollywood near us. There is only one PNC church in LA but I believe they have abandoned the sacred traditional administration of the Body and Blood of Christ. There seems to be a great falling away from holy values in general but we have a promise from our Lord that the gates of Hell will not prevail against us.
This reminds me of the old Polish National Catholic Church of my youth... are there any Episcopal or Polish Catholic Churches like this anymore? I am so tired of banjos, guitars and "with it" liturgies...Yours in Christ, Amen!
wow, I like how they receive Holy Communion the way they're supposed to. One the tongue, not in the hand.
