any computer can work with a touchscreen, all you need are drvers for a touch interface...its not "multi-touch" but I still think its pretty awesome

what about Safari? Are you able to get internet anywhere, that's why I would like to install a Mac in my car for the 3g. Otherwise, maybe I will just wait for the iPad and have an installment kit with battery charge in my car, much easier and more convenient than a laptop.

I'm thinking about putting a mac mini in my car as well. What kind of monitor did you use? Is it just a regular in-dash dvd/mp3 player?

I've seen one of these or something similar. The screen I saw was different, but it still was a sweet little Mac Mini with an external HDD where iTunes organized the music and videos because the guy who made it had issues with drive space for all his music and junk.
