Indian Nerd.

dude, i can't understand even a word of what ur saying
-
Could you tell me what was you'r AC output and DC output from that rectifier?
-
@hossamrida Spot on mate! You can make a simple Dc motor first with commutator, and then easily convert it to a DC generator. I'm doing this at Uni at the moment.
-
your circuit board is obviously homemade. i would like to know how to make it

fucking indians

@raveeshakh True. Anyway, thanks for posting the video, it is very helpful for students like me.

I did not measure AC out put.The DC current was around 300 milli amperes and voltage was 4 volts.

It is just a wooden plate with small holes (2mm diameter).I bought suitable spring pins to fit those holes.I connect the wires to the spring pins.I suggest u to buy one such board available in the market. This will save time.

couldn't you just use a DC generator instead of generating AC and then converting it to DC?

See, fundamentally a DC generator will have the same set up as this.Using coil and magnet, we can only produce alternating current which then will have to be converted to DC.

@raveeshakh I'll have to dissagree. As far as I know, we could use mechanical energy to rotate a coil in the magnetic field of the magnet and then instead of using 2 slip rings we use a commutator which enables the production of DC directly.

true, what I meant when I said 'same set up' is that in my set up I have connected a rectifier system (bridge rectifier with four semiconductor diodes) shown in the video. This part converts Ac to DC. Slip ring could also be used.
