Made this boat at the University of Oslo. Thanks to Sonen at IFI. We used plastic to make the boat and Arduino to control the engine and the rudder. Next step is to build a more narrow boat and some better controllers.

  • @kyrreman thank you! and congratulations on the project! are you using XBee to interface the boat with the controler? Arduino on both of them?

  • @AdvocatusDiabolii I have one Arduino board with an Xbee connected to it. This board let me control the rudder. I'm planning to hook the engine to it too, so I can turn it on and off. The other Xbee is connected to the Arduino board which act as the controller. This again is controlled by a potentiometer.
