Cellcard 'Say It Clear' - Kgnom Niyeay Chbah

The Cellcard 'Say It Clear' TV ad introduces the new faces and places of Cambodia proudly wearing Cambodian pride, epitomized by the TV commercial's Khmer slogan, 'Kgnom Niyeay Chbah', or 'I Say It Clear'.

To communicate the sentiment, 'proud to be Cambodian', the Cellcard 'Say It Clear' TVC makes use of an anthemic song boasting traditional Khmer instrumentation mixed with homegrown Khmer rap, hip hop, and voices. The song, entitled 'Say It Clear', is available for download as a ringtone or ring back tone at the Cellcard website (www.cellcard.com.kh).

Kong Nay, dubbed as the Ray Charles of Cambodia, and contemporary visual artist Pich Sopheap are featured in the Cellcard 'Say It Clear' TV commercial, which was shot all around Cambodia, including Phnom Penh, Siem Reap (the international gateway to Angkor Wat), and Sihanoukville.

khmerdos: glad you like it. Cambodia had a very prosperous ancient civilization that influenced all other civilizations along the Mekong river. Angkor is proof of that precious heritage and i am happy to see it in this Cellcard ad!

Thanks for upload the vid. I was a part of the spot (45-47 & 51-52), absolutely feeling proud of the way they feature Khmer. I think this is something Cambodian people should concentrate more on looking forward, not to look back too much in the past and blame. It's like 'See? Now we are moving...'
