Macintosh IIfx

Wow. I found another room where a Macintosh IIx and a Macintosh IIfx happen to be. However, the Macintosh IIx doesn't have a monitor port. So I won't be able to see what's on its desktop. So I picked up the macintosh IIfx. When I booted that thing up with the Buddha drive in it, I was amazed at it's speed. Its speed is the closest thing to my MacBook Pro. The IIfx's speed compared to this Macbook pro is a pretty good fraction. But because its monitor holds 16 colors, it's limited on applications. I miss being able to play Escape velocity on the IIsi. :-(

Is it running Mac OS 7.5.3 or Mac OS 7.5.5?

7.5.5. It's a good bit slower than 6.0.8. But it's still pretty damn fast. ^^

I'm planning to sell this thing. Anybody want it for $65 + shipping? It doesn't include the cool games, though. I'm keeping the hard drive and replacing it with a 80 MB HD w/ 7.1 installed.

im getting a quadra 610 hope fully in 2 weeks with os 7.1 stylewriter printer and colour style writer with brand new colour stywriter in package ink the best part

I used mac os 5 five with a macintosh IIcl and it was good.

If you want I can give you a external CD-ROM drive.
