Swing Cocktail (BBC2 1972-1973)

Swing Cocktail turned out to be the very first hour-long trade test tape which was first heard on BBC2 back in May 1972 and came out of service in December 1973 when it was replaced by Nightride. Some of these tracks had also featured later on the BBC1 early-morning tape Regina Waltz. Enjoy!!!!

I hope you don't mind me asking this but are you sure all those tracks were on Swing Cocktail? All of these are on Regina Waltz, I'm sure there weren't this many repeats. Sorry if I've ruined your night by querying! I love what you're doing by the way putting up all these tapes on You Tube, it's a brilliant idea, keep up the good work!

I'm glad that you have raised this with me actually because I actually haven't got the tracks to it, but as I listened to the second track it sounded so similar and I thought it eould sound in keeping with the tape, and no, you certainly haven't ruined my night but you've in fact made it.
