Act for Impeachment!

Action Plan:

2pm December 4th
Participants meet at "Capital South" metro station.

Once assembled (by 2:30) we will move to the Rayburn Building and go to the office of John Conyers and the Judiciary Committee and present a statement outlining our request for a hearing.


3pm-3:15 we will move as a group to the grassy area in front of the Capital Building and set up camp, preparing for the long haul.

After establishing our encampment we will stay as long as necessary/possible in order to express our commitment to seeing this through.

We ask that participants be prepared to camp in cold weather. It won't be necessary for all participants to stay at the camp at all times but it is important for a sizable group to maintain a presence at the encampment in order to properly express the strength of the movement and the extent of our commitment. People who cannot participate until later in the day or week are encouraged to join us when they can. Additionally those with children or special physical needs that may make it difficult to camp over night are welcome to join us for what ever period of time they are comfortable with. If people want to join us during the days and leave to sleep elsewhere we welcome your participation as well.


This is a call out to all the frustrated people around this country who wish to see our system of checks and balances work. Converge on Washington D.C. December 4th to demand that the Judiciary Committee takes up this issue. It is vital that this administration not be allowed to go to war with Iran. We need to do everything we can to strip them of their power.

i support ron paul but dennis kucinich is a great man also, i wish they were running mates, just dissolve party lines and make this country free, the way it was intended. the men who have committed the crimes that brought us to the point we are should be tried for treason and imprisoned or deported post haste

There's been talk about a "unity" ticket, the idea being bipartisanship. I also saw a reporter ask Elizabeth Kucinich what she thought about it and she seemed positive about the idea. I think a Kucinich/Paul or Paul/Kucinich ticket would be great!

I don't think impeachment is the answer to this. I think our Government needs to be taken back by people who are for the people and for themselves so I won't be there. I need to find the candidate who will think of us the American People before they think of fitting in at the White House

The committee wants to do this but the party leadership is trying to claim it's a waste of time and nobody wants it. Both are untrue. Think of the wasted time and money these men have caused. Working to slow them down is NOT a waste of time. In my opinion anyway. Thanks for checking this out. I hope you change your mind about coming.

With all due respect, that's the way they want you to feel. If the citizenry is not engaged they can do what ever they want and they will as we have seen. Just by showing up we can tell them we are watching them and we are not pleased.

It is an unapportioned tax thus it is ILLEGAL according to the U.S. Constitution
