This is me bitching about a number of negative reviews I've either read or have seen on-line. I attribute much of the negativism to unskilled/impatient shooters who blame the rifle for their inability to shoot accurately. I'm most certainly not the most experienced shooter on YouTube, but I am certainly willing to do my homework, and practice patience when it comes to an unfamiliar product. I love the benjamin Trail NP XL 1100 .22 cal, and do so only because I feel that I took the time to read, experiment, and practice patience. I've owned Red Riders, Powermasters, Phantoms, Titans, .22's, shotguns, and the like. Now I know a lot of you are fans of the Trail series, and some of you are not. This is life. Some love it, some hate it. I'm a lover!

  • Short 1st stage, short, crisp 2nd stage. The GRT-III is adjustable.

  • Thanks, Jaleel

  • I don't doubt that you are correct. Thanks!

  • Thanks,weldrene! I don't think you'll regret it. Powerful and well-made.

  • Good thing is, it comes with a sling!

  • Almost forgot to mention...... I had a GRT-III trigger laying around and I figured, "what the heck." I installed it yesterday and I must say it is a major improvement!

  • @PequotPounder With the GRT-III trigger, can you still distinguish the 1st stage from the 2nd stage? I tried the GRT-III trigger on a Crosman NP GP and while making the trigger pull significantly less force, it seemed to blurr the 1st and 2nd stage to the point that it felt like a long, single stage trigger.

  • Very nicely said. I have a Crow Magnum III, the "Rolls Royce" of gas ram air rifles. That said I just picked up one of these and am very happy with both the power and accuracy this rifle produces with a patient approach.

  • Lets not forget that most youtube reviews about this rifle are made by kids... Im not saying that its a bad thing but some are very impatient with this rifle. I think that this is a nice rifle just like any other rifle... Everything comes with practice.

    Great review!

  • thanks, great vid, I've been thinking about what to buy for my first high power PG, I think I'm going to try one. PCP is just to much for me, with the pump and or tank and scope and all.

  • I got this gun and I love it... I can hit a quarter from 30 yards.. but the bad thing is that its weights a lot
