If I were to conduct this, I'd have a small section of extra brass players, in one of the balconies, come in right at 5:06, and of course slow the tempo down quite a bid. Wouldn't than make for an incredible effect?.

I find it somewhat weird that the principal trumpeter in this recording is a woman (Susan Slaughter). It's equally as cool.

I joke. Native languages are always more appropriate, but when its in English then I don't have to look at Wikipedia at the same time to understand their poetry :)

To tell you the truth, I don't think so. What is more, you probably wouldn't be allowed to decide about such a thing, even if you were conductor.

No seguro si hay una versión rusa, el poema fue originalmente en inglés.
