@MrEruditus I DONT agree with your nuke talk,and I'm glad you dont run the country.I do agree to some extent that nukes are a scare tactic,but it is a very foolish tactic.And i believe Iran should have a nuke and a good way to deliver it,as this seems the only message Governments understand.Iran is gonna get screwed over here soon by another shit and disturb war by the USA....if thats direct or indirect who knows,its just another bad idea and nukes dont make it any better.

@MrEruditus What I'm saying is.....The United States Government fully let its military down that day,but the military is but a chess game to the government.And you cant actually believe any country would openly attack a USA military vessel flying its flag,this was all setup to happen.The order turning back those jets proves the guilt.The USA Government DONT HAVE THE BALLS to state they left their boys out there as cannon fodder,The ship survived,something they didn't plan on,BIG fail for them.
-
@MrEruditus I have to agree with you on that. An American Patriot died on June 11, 2001. You'll figure out who I'm talking about.

Now you people are learning a lesson about nuclear power. I don't want to hear anyone scream about how stupid it is that America thought about nuking this one or that one. Your screams are irrelevant, as are your questions and shock. The only pertinent thing is that we have the bomb. We can use it on you, even while you are expressing your shock at our stupidity. Think on that.

@shartasticful Nope, we're the bitches for permitting our government to do these things. The People of this country are the most powerful force on the planet, once they do things in numbers.
-
@staggabob I can believe it, given the paranoia of the day. Also, keep in mind that we had just used the bomb a few decades earlier. That was not long ago for that time at all. No, they were probably itching for a reason to use it again. Also, this was the height of the Cold War. Given the milieu they were in, I can believe that in their paranoia they considered nuking Egypt.

@eckrich60 Me too.

@VoiceInBlackness To blame the USA in this is completely irresponsible, moronic and offensive. International waters means international waters. The Israelis knew who we were. We felt safe, trusted them. We saved their asses in WWII and helped provide them with a State they couldn't provide on their own. Naturally we trusted them. But they attacked us on purpose. What you're saying is akin to saying that if the US has a broken nose in a fistfight, it's our fault because we have a soft nose.

@shurednichso Just hope and pray we don't initiate a nuclear strike against you ,dingleberry.
-

@ranlaen
American troops set up camp on the ruins of Babylon in Iraq, they have no respect for important heritage sites, maybe because they have few of their own.
