I saw them play a free show in France at the time.I'd heard the album thanks to a friend who had the cd.She couldn't attend the gig because it was a day of the week and her parents wouldn't let her (we were in highschool). I brought her Sharon's autograph the next day.It was a good show and I remember they played "Rubber Arms" that night.

Pooka's been my favourite 'band' for so many years-hilarious to see them on You tube all these years later and they're SOOOO FUNNYYYY!!!! amazing beautiful genius women. wish too they were still together. Trippy. So a friend at work asked me last week if I knew of Pooka (I hadn't) and apparently they're touring together and stopping off by us in Scarborough to play a gig... Staying at her house in fact!
Not sure if she meant they're playing together as Pooka, but there's a little info for you.
