@JoeJazzer @JoeJazzer Late last year, Aaron and us fans were being viciously heckled on the CMT board and it got under his skin pretty bad. He was called fake, cookie cutter, wanna-be country, etc, If I remember correctly, the asshole's name was Waylan?

TO Joe Jazzer Its funny how they call Aaron Lewis fake and cookie cutter or wanna be country. The reason its funny is because Country music doesnt exist anymore. Its all fake and cookie cutter now days. Im just glad Aaron Lewis has the balls to write a REAL COUNTRY SONG. COUNTRY MUSIC IS DEAD

The reason Aaron Lewis can do country as well is his songwriting ability. He tells stories and or the content is based on life from his view. Counrty is not dead. See Jamey Johnson or Randy houser. Counrty is no longer a cowboy only genre because there aren't as many of em anymore. JAmey Johnson is equally good live. The last show I saw he covered Nirvana/Leadbelly in a similar way to Aaron's good covers. Good music is just good music and thats it.

@pappyj29 What do you mean country music is dead? Country music is just as alive now as it has ever been. All genres of music are going to change with time but when it comes to country music its about a life style and myself and millions of others still live that country life. I agree that there are some fake country artist but at the same time there are lots of real ones who are singing about their every day life. I guess people who didnt grow up country have a hard time understanding it.
